MIAMI – With time running out on the shot clock and the Spurs clinging to a two-point lead with just seconds left in the game, Tony Parker – who else? – banked in a shot as the shot clock expired.

His basket with 5.2 seconds remaining gave the San Antonio Spurs a 92-88 victory in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday.

Parker had a team-high 21 points.

Pick a decade: the 1990s, 2000s or 2010s. The San Antonio Spurs are tough to beat in the NBA Finals.
