New to this board and very excited about tonight! Anybody notice Timmy passing up chances to go up and above James in the paint? Not trying to knock Tim at all (he's my favorite player), but curious if anybody else noticed this. Is James that good of a defender? I know Duncan has him by a few inches I expected Tim to slam it down. I trust Timmy's decision making and maybe I am just crazy. Go SPURS

Tim doesnt post up half as much as he used to. He lost weight and changed his game to suit his body and the teams needs.

And from a BBIQ stand point, yes its a stupid move. LBJ is a better post defender than most of the league, even in the post

I'd much rather have him down in the post doing work than taking those long jumpers. He missed a lot of those tonight. We need to go to him more in the post.

Timmy was too passive and hesitant on pick and rolls in the second half. If he fixes that, then the Spurs will be in a better spot in game 2. That doesn't mean he has to shoot every time, btw. He just needs to not freeze or make bad passes.

    Lebron probably outweighs him now.
