Just getting his ninja on, tbh
I've seen the video but I missed it when it happened. What I never was able to find out is the before and after. Why did Bruce do that? Was he having a spastic episode? Was Wally Szczerbiak being a d'bag and Bruce finally had enough? Was it even called a foul? Bruce played a ton of consecutive games, how did he avoid a suspension on this play?
Bruce was my favorite player for a long time, so for me to be asking this is a little embarrassing, but I just gotta know!

Wally Szczerbiak was one of the biggest D-bags in the history of the league. He's the only guy I ever saw go Teen Wolf and steal the ball from a teammate to get a shot. That said, I always thought that Bowen kick was more out of a desire to make a stop than anything personal.
The better question is: Why wouldn't you kick WallyWorld in the face?
Well, was he jumping because he thought the dude was going up and got faked or what?
Just typical Bowen defense TBH.
I don't think it was intentional, I think it was Bowen's momentum and Wally changing his shot that lead to a kick to the face.
Seriously, who wouldn't, when given that golden opportunity?
I never saw Bruce do a flying leg kick. He was always in the other guy's front pocket but the clip I have seen of this shows no context.... So, was it a foul? Lol
It looks like Bowen was going for a closeout but did so with a kicking motion. Who knows, maybe he wanted to kick Wally in the face but wisely disguised it as a closeout
