Yeah, that jersey in the original post is a really bad knock off, likely from China. The one juggity posted was used from 75-82 I think. The original Spurs road jersey was this one:
Think they only wore that from 73-74 or so, but the color and the numbers are all wrong in the fake jersey. Then the Spurs went to this one from 83-89
The name and numbers are white, not grey, on the jersey.
I don't like the off-center logo. The color is nice though. If they had 'San Antonio' in white instead of the logo, I'd like it a lot better. Or even the standard Spurs emblem.
The silver unis are sweet. The only semi-negative is how awkward/incomplete the front looks, but that's minor considering everything else about the unis are on point. Nice cut, sleek trim, classy color combos.
I like the new v-neck regular unis, too.
Those old circle neck unis were damn ugly imo. The oversized armholes made the jerseys look sloppy, like one step above an actual wifebeater. The circle neck itself was always going bacon neck when they'd get wet with sweat. And the waist bands on the shorts looked goofy.
The new v-neck unis addressed all those problems quite nicely.

I like the gray uniforms...they are cutting edge. I would love for them to use the "San Antonio" jerseys at some point.
So far grey's been the lucky color. We need to keep it.
I think the reason they don't is because they want the jersey to sell in Argentina or France. And people will identify more with the name of the team not the name of a city. Just my opinion
They're grey, not silver. They've grown on me but it's not my favorite jersey. I don't really care what color they use, though, as long as they get the gold!
