far from flop
06/06/2013 (game 1).
Preview what is coming in game 2.
The first one isn't a horrible flop, but definitely a blocking foul. The second one was atrocious.
Good to see Battier got a kick to the head as a reward. Not a full flop there, but we'll see a few before it's over.
Nothing was as egregious as some of the flops from earlier rounds. Manu had a bit of a flop on a Wade post-up in the 3rd too so its not like it was just Miami (although definitely more attempts by them). With the exception of 2-3 calls though, the refs in Game 1 were pretty good and didn't fall for the flopping. With the Crawford/Mauer tandem tonight, not sure that will be the case.
mario chalmers is a known flopper.
Battier is extremely good at throwing himself under a driving player while simultaneously falling backward, and he's rewarded WAY too often for it. I've seen him get that call for stepping in front of a guy who already delivered a pass.
