COJO needs to be the backup PG. We need perimeter defenders.

It won't matter if we're getting enough ball movement. Neal was a nonfactor last series and all of sudden Pop wants to go back to him?

For sure, defense needs to be the focus more than offense. Sure Neal might score a bunch, but when he doesn't, he's useless, and even when he does score a bunch, he gives up as many points as he scores.

This doesn't mean bench Neal but give him spot minutes. COJO can hang with these guys.

CoJo needs to take all of Neals minutes. Better defense. Better passing. Better rebounding. More energy. Smarter. He can actually run the offense and make plays. Neals one "advantage" over CoJo is that he can shoot or is a threat to shoot. Whatever. If I was Pop, he gets all of the Neals minutes in the first Quarter in game 3 and go from there. Tell him to run the offense, make his passes and if you see a possible shot, be aggressive and take it. He always seems to bring a great energy to the team and "Spurs basketball" seems to show up. Nothing to lose. Can't be scared and stubborn. Not asking Baynes to replace TD, its fuggin NEAL! LOL.
