He's now 35 and his aging has hit him terribly in the NBA. I think he's most likely done for. I hate to throw him under the bus, but I have barely seen a spark of life out of him for a majority of the year.
Without Manu, we wouldn't be here.
Hurts my heart to do it, but I agree...![]()
still got luv for the dude but it pains me to see him play like absolute trash on the biggest stage like this
not tonight. just after this series if we lose![]()
im surprised by this post by 50 cent. I thought you knew more about BB. No loss can be put on just one player on a basketball game - it's by definition a team sport.
Manu was horrible tonight and has not been very good at all these playoffs, but the same can be said of pretty much any other player with very few exceptions. Can you put this on Parker who had 0 points in the 2nd half? or on Tiago who missed tons of candy dunks? or the horrible D? or the 20 TOs? (Manu had just 1 of those). I can go on.
I know there's been a trend to find someone to blame and it's just hilarious. For the reasons above.
I'm not going to condone the lynching of Manu at all. The same was done to Tiago, and Neal, and others before and you know what ended up happening. Everyone was bending over two nights ago.
Putting a little bit of thought before posting and creating new threads can go a long way.
Sorry to say it but if the Spurs don't win it, Manu will retire, and Duncan might feel like doing so also. We don't know how this would hurt him.
1 year vets minimum next year that's it.
