Yeah, DG and Hand will get their's tonight. It's going to be up to the Big 3 to play as the catalyst.
I see so many threads about Manu this...Manu that. Duncan, Leonard and Parker but I never see any support for Green. He's kinda like the forgotten starter. I for one am not the biggest Green fan but you cant deny how great he was in game 3 and I hope he can pull that off again tonight. I'd love to see him go off for 20+ so we dont have to rely on Manu to shine. Let the youngster do his thing and let the cards fall where they may.

What I'd love most is Manu to drive, then make perfect passes to an open Green for the perfect 3. That would go a long way towards us winning.
people forget Danny was great trough the whole series, in each game he gave atleast what was expected of him and usually even more, especially Game 3
him and Kawhi are probably only Spur players that brought it throughout the series and not just for 1 night
He`s not the stepping up guy...
He's shooting 47-93 from long range in the playoffs.
I will do some research and see if anyone has shot over 50% with over 100 attempts in a playoff run. Will report back by Game 7 on Thursday.
he's been dead eye from 3 the whole series and we have heaped tons on praise on him. defense on wade and bron bron has been exemplary and that has been acknowledged by this forum as well. he has not been ignored. he has been playing great not just in game 3 but the entire series.
There's lots of support for Green. I think most reasonable fans understand that he's done more than enough in these Finals. His 3 point shooting has been lights out, and it's not fair to ask him to repeat historically efficient performances like that when someone like Manu (one of our "Big 3") is playing atrocious basketball.
Manu deserves the (negative) spotlight right now.
I looked down this main page and the next and I dont see one Danny Green thread. Not one. You would figure for a guy doing all the right things and shooting lights out that there would be a plethora of Danny Green threads but no...everyone would rather talk about Manu or Parker or Duncan or Leonard. Thats cool...but Green is more important to the Spurs right now than many fans realize. So I disagree with these assumptions that Green is getting all this support. We are going into the most important game in the series and no one is bringing up Green until I posted this thread.
Highest 3P% in playoffs (min. 100 attempts) = 45.1% - BJ Armstrong (51/113)
Simmons Said He's Tired of Getting Burned By The Spurs!!
you'd have to dig deep. game 3 was 10 pages ago.
probably right. With Green its forgotten very quickly what he has done.
you're a dramaqueen
Just come out of the closet already, m33. Why try and hide it? We talk spurs and you want to talk drama queens. We will accept you.
Lol thanks. I imagine that was still when the 3pt line was as it was today and not the truncated version between 1995 and 1997.
Well imagine that with Green at 50% shooting and the highest percentage at +16....everyone is worried about all the other players. LMAO
Green with 4-7 and 11 points...wanna start bowing down to me now?
Lets go, Danny Boy
go go go DG
It'll be interesting to see if Miami starts making him a priority, I'm surprised they keep falling asleep on him and are allowing him to shoot, rather than making the big 3 beat them 1 on 1, or allowing Kawhi/Diaw to shoot instead, tbh..
Green has made some very tough shots, to be fair, but he's been wide open on most of them in this series, and he's way too good to keep leaving him open from 3..he moves so well without the ball, too..
Lets go, Danny Boy.
LETS GO, DANNY BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...............what did I tell you fools?
Yes, Sir
