that sucks, he's been real supportive of the team even while riding the bench encouraging everybody he really wants to help us win in any capacity

That makes me sad. Even if the poor little guy never gets to play, his cheerleading is always great to watch. Wonder if we see him next season still in a Spurs uniform?
As long as he will be at courtside with us for these next, likely 2, games for us — it isn't a huge loss. His support on the sidelines trumps his ability to produce at a high level in the games being played.
bad luck tbh.... nobody whips that towl lyk patty![]()
his "highlight" picture for the article was him at his best
Get well soon, Patrick.
Kept his mouth shut about playing time unlike Nando and supported the team.
Get well, Patty.
Damn! Hope still keeps the towel while in the suit.
As long as he's around for the ring ceremony next season.
Nando will more than pick up the slack. Pop will finally play Nando and he will lead us to victory. Nando is the Spurs' X-factor. Believe....
Can the Spurs move someone over into his roster spot or is it too late? I don't have a ticket.
tore his rotator cuff waving towels
Nando will be on the active roster as he was in game 4. Patty was on the inactive list on that one, too.
I hope he doesn't play for the Spurs next season. I'd hate to see his talent be wasted by him not getting to play.
this sounds like the way Bob Marley died
don't die on us Aussie mate
I still saw him in game 5 on street clothes, bumping team mates after a timeout and still holding a towel. What a guy!
lol yeah that was awesome. i think for game 4 he was in the row behind the team but game 5 he was sitting on the side with his towel. he was able to cheer and high five the guys. wonder if he asked pop to sit there lol
