At least one of those splitter turnovers last night was not his fault.
One thing that has come up is the possibility that the Heat will start, or use more often, their lineup without a point guard (especially after the way Tony and Manu abused Chalmers and Cole in Game 5). If the Heat use Lebron, Wade, Miller/Allen, Battier and Bosh, where do we hide Tony on defense? I would assume on Miller/Allen?
Of course, offensively we would abuse this lineup, but a few of the ESPN radio talking heads predict this may be Spo's next adjustment.
Some, of course, think Spo will go back to a "big" lineup with Haslem again in the starting lineup and Birdman returning to the rotation. If so, do we take Manu back out for Splitter? Splitter's had such a rough series, I'd give him a quick hook for Diaw if he still struggles. (He had 3 turnovers in 10 minutes tonight).

The lineup we're currently using is practically unstoppable offensively, and defensively. they can switch 1-4 on screens and everyone can hit an open three (including super clutch Timmy)
Half the time Splitter's turnovers are blatant fouls. He doesn't get the whistle-love EVER
I think it is a commonly referenced but inaccurate observation regarding Tony. He is not a defensive specialist. He is, however, a much more capable defender than is generally accredited on this forum.
I agree. He's one of the better defending PGs in the league.
Put Tony on Allen or Battier. I don't think Battier could even capitalize off the smaller Tony on him, even if he tried. Allen maybe, but he just scored 21 pts, what more can they expect from HIM? They need Chalmers, Haslem, Cole, Bosh to step up. Not Ray Allen, he's giving them all he has
without a pg james guards tp and that makes james tires
Going big would be a HUGE mistake for Miami. The Spurs are able to keep Lebron out of the paint easier with the big lineup. I'm think either Ray Allen or Shane Battier should start in place of Mike Miller. Allen is quietly having a good series, and Battier gives them spacing and better defense than Miller. Battier would be the best counter Miami can offer to Manu.
I think Allen shot his load last game trying to out-do Green. I'd love to see him in the starting lineup in game 6.![]()
Miller if Allen starts or Battier if he starts.
