I think 2005 will always be my favorite. 7 game series with the Pistons -Horry in game 5 was absolutely epic.
Will this be your favorite? 2013 would be mine. Tough ass Miami fully loaded team, and the Spurs regrouping yet once again with only the Big III retained from prior ships.![]()

this team is what....the 03 team wouldve been for the 03/04 season had they stick to resigning the players....
2003 for me. Crushing the Lakers' 3peat and making them cry on the bench enroute to the le with a team that only had one star in Super Duncan was EPIC. The whole postseason was a rush. We kinda dominated the out of this postseason after doing the same thing last year too. It's desensitized me a bit.
1999 was good too.
I'd rate them like this:
2003
1999
2013 (if we get it)
2005
2007
I guess I kinda liked the ones where I was least sure we'd win the most. 2007, honestly once we beat the Suns I was just thinking, yeah we got this .
This one would rank high up there for the sheer fact that no one, I mean, no one really expected the Spurs to win the le 15 years into Duncan career along with how disappointing the past 6 years have been. And for it to come against one of the 'greatest' teams of all time along with one of the greatest players of this generation, is amazing. Even having home court, we were still underdogs against Memphis and Miami. And for us to sweep the Griz then, possibly, knock off the defending champs, would be the best ending to one of the greatest players in NBA history.
And of course, this makes it that much sweeter:
Duncan - 5 with 3 finals MVPs (maybe 4 depending on this year)
Kobe - 5 with 2 finals MVPs
This championship would rank probably last. The Heat are an easy team. There are no superstars on the Heat.
This would be the sweetest, tbh. But 03 and 05 will always be remembered the most.
No doubt,2013.
I was at Game 7 against the Pistons and if we win this series,it will be so epic that just watching on tv will be as intense.
This city will party like its Carnival in Rio De Janeiro.
You cannot be the slightest bit cynical about a Spurs le in 2013.
You might regret those comments in these last 2 games. Though I guess you will say your team sucks for losing to a team without a superstar.
If they win this year, I'd rank them:
2003>>2005>>>2013>1999>>>2007
Def. 2005
only if Danny Green wins the FMVP...but 05 is the best
The spurs won't beat the Heat this year. I ain't a fan of the spurs but I really liked it when they beat the pistons in 05, which might be the most entertaining finals series the Spurs have ever played imho. The pistons could make the conference finals almost every year from 04 ot 07, they were certainly one of the best teams in the league through that period of time imho. The pistons could've possibly built a dynasty in the post-lakers era but their hopes were absolutely aborted by the Spurs in 05.
LOL pregame semen cloud carried down from upstairs.
But to answer your question, this would be my favorite one if Duncan scores 67 in the win and James punches Wade for missing open shots.
As a Duncan fan, '03 will always be the best Spurs championship just because of Timmy's near quadruple double in Game 6, not to mention how he dominated even when the Nets were quadruple-teaming him, tbh....
