If the spurs could get him for the LLE or what is left of the MLE I say sign him. Spurs have a succesfull track record for getting troubled players on straight and narrow. An athletic, 6'9" SF with a good J and handle? Sign him up.

He's been waived by the Warriors, so he's an unrestricted free agent. Wouldn't be a bad backup small forward prospect and presumably would not cost much.

Both Denver and Golden State have taken him on figuring that he's a low-risk, decent-upside prospect. He's done nothing to stick either place, so he's got to be running out of chances by now. I'm thinking if he can't make it by now, it would be better to let him be someone else's problem. Like maybe a B-team in Europe.
He'd be the 12th man in SA. I'm sure the Spurs would give him a contract that wouldn't be hard to eat if so warranted.
Same could've been said about Stephen Jackson not too long ago.

This guy has to be looking to stay in the league. The LLE for a couple of years might be tempting to him. Still, for the next 2 to 3 seasons I'd prefer Glenn Robinson.
I think you're right, but Big Dog and the Spurs both might be better served by a shorter contract. He wants to showcase his new at ude and recovery so he can get a final big contract.
We still aren't sure about his defensive skills and probably should be looking for a permanent backup replacement for Bowen that we could understudy.
He just got waived by the Clippers, so he's back on the market.
If he couldn't make it with the Clippers??
