I've been a lurker for awhile on here and I feel like I need to say something. We need to be better then this. Just blaming the entire game on Manu is pathetic. This is not tennis or golf. This is a team sport. Everyone made mistakes throughout the game. It's a collective effort. If we somehow pull down a board off one of Lebron's missed 3's, game over. The Manu bashing left and right is just ridiculous. Look how much he's done for the team over the years and the success that we had. Basically any other team in the NBA would kill for that kind of success, in return we are just acting selfish. I will probably be flamed and or ignored, but just needed to get my two cents in.

    Go Spurs Go.

Spurs 13 TO, Manu 8 TO

At this point in his career, on this stage, his BBIQ must prevail because his body can't. All we get is repeated BB non-intelligence, and passes without a chance in of succeeding.

Throw him under the bus? I want to throw the bus in reverse and get him a few more times, tbh. Manu cost us this series. Period. He could not have played worse than if Miami had paid him to take a dive. I'm not even trying to be funny. He played that bad in every game not named Game 5. He's a complete waste.

he had more than half the spurs turnovers
all of his passes were garbage, they were either thrown straight into the defenders hands or were so bad that it forced the recipient to fumble it

You do realize that some of those crucial rebounds at the end, he was the one getting rebounded over...

like almost 50% of all the critical plays that went bad for us, Manu was the one who the play was getting made on

I'm sorry, but "under the bus" is exactly where Manu belongs after his pathetic performance in game 6. He played great in game 5, let's not take that away from him. . .but he negated it with his joke of a game 6. Then there's games 1-4 which he was either below average or awful in all of them.

Ginobili has 8 turnovers. The rest of the Spurs had 5, and at least one of those 5 were also Manu's fault, if not two of them. The Spurs played great last night. . .except Ginobili.

Now, I don't give him FULL blame. I also blame Popovich for multiple ty decisions in the 4th and OT. Starting with the lineup he trotted out there to begin the 4th, which consisted of the 5 worst Spur players of the night against Miami's most deadly lineup of the series at the exact point Miami was obviously looking to try and come back. He was playing russian roulette with 5 bullets in the gun for 1 1/2 minutes and it led to a huge run. Then he makes a lazy counter move and it continues for another minute before he does what he should have to begin with.

Then he pulls a Frank Vogel at the end of regulation.. .TWICE, by pulling Duncan on two key defensive possessions.

So yes, I play Pop too, but come on, Ginobili sucked complete ass last night. He was the worst player on the team by far. It isn't hate either, it's pointing out the reality.
