Waiting for FWD to come in here and suck Stern's , yet again.
Posted this downstairs too. Take it with a grain of salt, but a lot of good stuff about how refs rigged, placed bets on, and altered the outcome of NBA games. Some stuff on particular refs like Danny Crawford too.

I hate nearly all the refs, but Donaghy's assertions are to his benefit only, and that is an old article. There has been little substantiation of his claims, and no one else was prosecuted despite his claims.
Is it to the detriment of the NBA that fans can clearly show trends of calls and no calls in favor of certain teams or players, or interferences in the games that clearly impact play? Most fans of the game understand the enormous impact officiating can have in starting or stopping runs or quietly giving advantage to one team over another. It wouldn't be too terribly hard - from outside perspective - to ensure a similar foul count at the end of the game (or even a similar FTA count), but have devastated one team's chances in favor of the advancing the other team.
The NBA could do a better job at being transparent with missed or blown calls and could do better to clarify how the review calls and monitor officiating league-wide. But that does not mean there is an inherent or systemic conspiracy afoot. Real evidence bears that out.
Some games clearly get fixed. For example game 3 of the 2006 WCSF.
Wow. The code of silence gets broken.
Donahy has less credibility than timvp's playoff predictions, tbh
Last night's game wasn't fixed. The Spurs just choked it away. This is old friggin news anyways.
Joey Crawford was almost perfect last night, with the exception of the last call.
There are no "bad" calls in the NBA. These guys are great pros.
Which essentially confirms that G6 of the 2012 WCF was rigged big time.
Even if you predicted who will win based on their capability, their depth, but the refs will just rig the game, you will never get it right.
Those calls against Splitter in game 6 were just ridiculous.
And you can see Duncan's eyes asking the refs for a foul while wrestling near the rim before a shot..the foul came because it was too obvious
makes me wonder if we are going to get screwed by the refs over some stupid tomorrow night
Honestly...if it's going to come down to the spurs being up 5 with 20 sec to go(In game 7), I'd like their odds. I think.....as much as I want to blame officiating, the spurs lost game 6..not the refs.
