I know it's early but damn.. I'm already excited for next season. Duncan will still be a great big, Kawhi is becoming a star, and hopefully Tony will do some growing up over the summer. What can you see happening with Splitter, Neal, and Ginobili? Are the Spurs so loyal that they'll give Manu another season? What realistic moves can we make to contend next year?

Manu at the Room Exception is a real possibility due to his poor play.

Sign a competent back up point guard. Gary Neal would work great as a 3rd string (or even backup) shooting guard.

Keep Neal as your Vinny Johnson the team will need points in the 2nd unit when Manu is gone.

Honestly, we are going to have to face the fact that Parker is starting to age, too. As a guy who thrives off of his quick burst, this could become an issue as he advances into his mid-30s. He'll be 31 1/2 at the beginning of next year, so he should be fine, but keep an open eye. I would expect him to age less gracefully than Manu and Timmy due to his greater reliance on his athleticism. Hopefully, I'll be wrong.

Realistically? None are realistic. I don't see too many changes heading into next season.

Whatever happens, the Spurs need to not resign Manu. DeColo could have held it together better than him in game 6, he was the solely responsible actor in costing the Spurs the championship.

I hope he signs with the Heat so he can coattail more rings.

    got.

Manu should go and leave Spurs with the cap space to do something else. He could join Heat if he wants to help
