Spurs gave us everything they could muster. They fought hard but in the end they were only Hector and could not beat the almost indestructible Achilles. The ball didn't bounce their way. Maybe some reffing pushed the Heat to the championship. It wasn't obvious really but maybe. I am proud of what San Antonio did and I support this team now and after the big three fade away into basketball glory long past. Heck of a job against a Superteam built for championships and probably fixed by the NBA to win it all regardless. Even Manu. He played his heart out but in the end, it wasn't enough. I respect that. These guys shouldn't even have been in the finals but they beat all odds just to get there. In my mind, this is the greatest group the Spurs have ever had even despite the loss because of their chemistry, lack of quit and perseverance in the face of unbeatable odds. They couldn't win in the end, but this is my team and for Spursfans everywhere, this is your team. Go Spurs Go. Now and forever![]()
