Damn, first Bud now possibly Brown![]()
According to Ian Thomsen of Sports Illustrated, he believes San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Brett Brown is a strong candidate to land the vacant head coaching position of the Boston Celtics... > http://www.projectspurs.com/2013-art...ead-coach.html
Appropriately enough, with his long background in player development, Brett is probably a better coach for a rebuilding Celtics team than Doc Rivers, who was always more comfortable with veterans.
With him being from Maine, curious if he was a Celts fan growing up...wondering if this is his dream job. Seems like the perfect fit for him and the Celts. I'd be surprised if this doesn't happen. Its a shame, I liked him as the guy to replaced Pop.
