Since they're blowing up the farm no need to hold onto a bad seed like Rondo...the kid won't listen to Ainge anyway...Pau would net them a huge windfall from the massive expiring with which they can do all kinds of with....

if celtics want nothing but expiring s + picks for rondo, then them mavs will also have a shot. Dude's a stat-padder but he's a real PG at least, thing that we've been devoid of since Kidd gone. then we still have 15m cap space which'll enable us to sign some hardcore s from free agency, hopefully we can sign either Iggy or Smith plus a solid big like Dalembert.

I think this is very likely to happen. Boston don't want to be in the same position as the Raptors, they are obviously rebuilding and it would make sense to dump Rondo to be bad enough to get Wiggins or Parker next year. Pau is an expiring, though I don't think they care because they traded for Crash, who's contract is 30mil/3 yrs
I see Lakers pushing this trade heavily if Dwight actually leaves. They'd be left without a solid Center, but they can increase Hill's and Clark's minutes, plus they drafted some scrub PF with range, maybe go for a cheap FA like Turiaf or Kaman or w.e

If the celtics are set to rebuild then trading Rondo out of town for some picks + expiring s wouldn't be a bad choice for Boston. dude ain't the right player to lead a team anyway, expecting him to be a leader sounds just as stupid to me as expecting Chris ing Evans to win you box office. Captain America I would've been an epic failure w/o Tommy Lee and nobody gives a about that named Natalie Portman, that's why they have to move my goddess to CA2 hoping to rescue that .
