No problem with it, bring PJ back.
No problem with it, bring PJ back.
Congrats Brett, and good luck!
Pretty big step up. Best of luck!
Huge hire for us, never even heard of him and now he's coaching a storied NBA franchise! Reflects very favorably on the Spurs organization. We are the farm team for GMs, head coaches, etc. that's amazing!

"Source says 76ers favor Brett Brown as new coach"
"Brett Brown is the preferred candidate for the 76ers coaching job, according to a league source. If the job doesn't go to Brown, the search for Doug Collins' replacement would remain compe ive, the source said. Portland Trail Blazers assistant David Vanterpool; Sixers assistant Michael Curry, a holdover from Collins' staff; and Boston Celtics assistant Jay Larranaga are believed to be the other serious contenders."
As Barkley said weeks ago, such a weird situation for Philly, not having signed a headcoach yet...
Congratulations and best of luck with the sixers.
Think Oden is making the HC decision for Philly, lol?
I want PJ back !!!!!!!
He will probably tell Pop not to bench Duncan in crunch time
So who replaces Brett?
Oberto?
Good God, no Avery Johnson. Besides, his ego is so big that he's unlikely to accept an assistant's job ever again in the NBA - and if Pop did offer him one, he'd probably orchestrate a coup to get him fired, so he could take over.
Some here might actually welcome that.
sloan would be awesome. i'd actually like avery. i think it's time for that prodigal son to return. david robinson back on the bench would be incredible. he could be our answer to the dream being back with the rockets.
Several head-coaching candidates will meet with Philadelphia 76ers ownership in New York this week in a second round of interviews, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Four assistant coaches – Atlanta's Kenny Atkinson, San Antonio's Brett Brown, Chicago's Adrian Griffin and Boston's Jay Larranaga – are scheduled to meet with, Sixers managing partners Josh Harris and David Blitzer, among other team officials, sources told Yahoo! Sports
