The dude looks pretty athletic. Hopefully he can do that against NBA talent.

He's not much of a shooter although he's got a much better shot than Nazr but not as good as Rasho's from 15 out.

He's a guy who works around the basket, who moves without the ball very well, and just does all the things that need to be down ala Manu.

Yes to all of the above.

do you know how many minutes he'll get going up against nazr and rasho [considered their not traded]?

And he's pretty old isn't he? He's past his prime right?

Jordan was 28 when he won his first le, he was 33 when he won his 4th NBA le.

Malone was 34 when he finally reached the finals for the first time.

Bruce Bowen was 30 when we first signed him.

Oberto is 30, that's a vet in the NBA for someone being a "rookie" but I'd rather have a proven vet help this team now and for the next 3-4 years than an unproven rookie who needs 3-4 years just to do something or nothing at all.

What the Spurs are doing is fitting pieces around their core (Manu, Tim, Tony) for the next 4-5 years. That's all you can do. No one in the NBA is adding players for 10 years from now, it's all about the foreseeable future.

Playing for Atenas (Cordoba, ARG), by the time they won everything (except for that McDonalds Open in France won by Jordan's bulls). The assist is from the great Hector "Pichi" Campana.

Several feeds from the "Team first" type of point guard that is/was Marcelo Milanesio. 2 playing in Atenas, 2 in Argentina's NT.

I sort of think that depends on your game. I don't have the data to back it up but I think a big who is healthy can maintain their production up to about 36 if their game isn't relying solely on athleticism. Smalls and bigs who are mostly athletes probably 34. Obviously there are always exceptions.

He's fairly mobile and will attack the basket strong. Should fit right in with the Spurs.

Damn, I bet some other GMs and coaches are feeling down from the Spurs drafting a find like Ian into the pipeline, and then contracting for Fabricio, for their FIRST 2 picture-perfect, off-season moves.

Tim, Robert, Nazr, Rasho, Fabricio! Even 4 out of those 5 is a league-beating front-line rotation.

The one bad thing about those videos is the level of compe ion, for the most part. In the NBA he is going to see athletes with athleticism and strength unlike anything he's seen in the Euroleagues...on a nightly basis. If in his first season he is coming off the bench then he will be going up against NBA bench bigmen, which should be a good way for him to get used to the level of compe ion.

He has some of the skills you want in a big playing alongside TD. He will get himself to the rim and go up strong (without any pumpfakes, thank God).
