    More Info

Currently on the Spurs' RMR team. Had a good showing in his first outing last night, with 17 points on 6 of 11 shooting from the field, including 4 of 5 from behind the arc. Also had 6 rebounds, 2 blocked shots and 1 assist in 25 minutes. Good size for a 3 man. Also has good speed. He's had stints with the Magic in 2003-04 and the Pacers in 2004-05. Also was in training camp with the Hornets before the 2004-05 season. A good candidate for the swing spot on IR.

That's pushing it. He's played decently against the compe ion in the CBA/summer leagues/etc, but to say he's better than Bruce Bowen is a huge stretch.

He probably means offensively, because that's probably true. No way he's better on the defensive end.

Who knows if that's even true on offense. He has improved because he's getting into shape, but no one has seen him play against NBA compe ion that much.

Johnson was very good as a freshman at Utah with Andre Miller and Michael Doleac but he went on his mission and never got back to what people thought he would become. I was impressed watching him his freshman year, but then I was disappointed in watching him after that. The 2 year mission really hurt his career.
