Nobody will take on that inflated contract. He'll be a Warrior for at least 2 more seasons, prob 3.

Golden State does value David Lee, had a terrific season for them, but they've simply tested his worth on the market.
He's like Mozart, he's "passionate, but, he does not persuade."
Big contract, not a 25 year old player and the last time he played he was injured...
as odd as it sounds I'm a huge David Lee guy...I like his energy and hustle...he'd be a good fit in LA...and he's a match-up problem for some guys out West...he'd certainly get the white boy calls from the refs if he played for the Lakers...I would trade him for Gasol...I know he's not the name we were expecting but he'd give the Spurs and Thunder all sorts of problems
they obviously found out they are better without him on the floor..
Lol @ "white boy calls" tbh Kool. You livin' in da passed. If anything white boyz gettin' on jus' because they are white. Prime example, det omer Assitch mo a.
Lee is certainly a better player than Diaw but the hype around him is still way bigger than what he's worthy of. Dude's a decent rebounder but an average 1on1 defender, no shot blocking ability and no low-post game, though guy has a good mid-range. Offense is his strength but his talent in offense has been underused in a run-and-gun system reasonably, so it wouldn't be a bad choice for GS to trade him away while he still has decent value imho
