A report from Yahoo’s Mark Spears says that Bynum will not work out for teams interested in signing the 25 year-old center who didn’t play a game for the Sixers last season. Bynum’s agent David Lee said that there are about a half-dozen interested teams. Lee says that teams will be provided with an MRI and medical reports

Why anyone (6 teams) would even consider him before this riser is what is so mind-boggling.

Not surprised. He's a high reward type of player. Quite possibly the best big man in the league when healthy. He's a legit 7 footer, has a post game, soft touch, excellent rebounder and banger and a very good defensive player. He can also make his FT's.

he was the reason you won 09 and 10 though (or at least one of them), while you got curbstomped by the greens in 08 without him. better not expect a long lucrative deal this summer imho. he's gonna need a one-year workout to demonstrate his real value and to replenish people's confidence in him, while getting paid 10-15m

Just shows how great Phil Jackson was in getting the best out of his players. Lamar Odom, Artest and Bynum all bought his philosophy and in return Phil made them into winners.

It was frustrating as a Laker fan dealing with that guys BS.

2008, we had a chance to beat Boston but he decided to puss out for his contract. He could have totally came back but he didn't want to endanger his contract.

2009, again he pusses out and claims he's at 20% during the playoffs

2010, again another injury, claims he's around 30% during the playoffs, then 20% during the Finals. Almost claims he can't play after game 3 of the NBA finals

2011 HIS FIRST healthy full season as a starter, numerous LA reports state Bynum is butting heads with coaching staff and the FRONT office, wants to test his limitations as the face of the franchise. ANOTHER, inside source says Bynum will play extremely loud music during practice and constantly get speeding tickets despite management warning him about his behavior. He tells Mike Brown off, and ironically gets along just fine with Kobe.

This guy is your classic case of Juwanna Mann.

    This would be totally reasonable.
But its the NBA and I wouldn't be shocked if someone took the gamble and hands him 4 years near max.

This may very well be the first true test for the new CBA.
