It's because something never before seen in the history of mankind is about to happen, yep a global first. See that last name, the sprinter from Japan? The guy is just a teenager, and will be running a sub10.00...soon. Something no Asain athlete has ever done. The Asian record...10.00.. is held by an old cat named Ito.
Asians are too stubby, tight, lack speed physiques. Just think our high school record is 10.01 held by footballer Jeff Demps (Buc's). Our high school kids can run with their National caliber sprinters.
Just a few years ago Christophe LeMaitre from France became the first non African roots sprinter to run a sub10.00. Black sprinters have been running sub10.00 since 1968 with Oaklands Jimmy Hines turned the trick at that years Olympics, since then tons and tons of black sprinters have ran from 9.58-9.99. No Asians, no Mexicans and but one white guy.
Yep, it's all about unique physical characteristics found in abundance in those with western African roots.
While we will be seeing an Asan sub10.00, we will never see an Asian...
