I must have a dozen pair of headphones, if they work there is no dramatic difference in any of them. The thing is the cord length.

I do do something rather unique, I have a headband that fits tight, I put that around the headphones which pushes them tight against my ears.

Had the ATHs and all the other awesome Headphones but the V-Modas are the best IMO, I have the V80s. Got them for a 140$ which was a good price, normally go for like 160-180.

The crossfades are 100$ on amazon, those are amazing too

These are my go to - casual listening headphones. For critical listening they are surprisingly good too.

I still have 2 pair of these: Pioneer SE-505 from the late 70's. Heavy as and they look like Darth Vader's phones, but they still sound pretty decent.

    Sennheiser HD Pro 280's.

99.00 at Sam Ash. Great sound, use em for gaming, movies, music. Download Razer Surround while its free, and get 7.1 simulated surround for your movies and games. Sounds great.
