The boomers, of which I am one, are like all generations, a mixed bag. We get a lot of credit for things we didn't do. The civil rights movement was started by a bunch of people that were born in the 1930's as was most of the political movement leaders of the 1960's. Think of all the big names of the 1960's. They weren't boomers. Abby Hoffman wasn't a boomer. MLK, wasn't a boomer. Bob Dylan wasn't a boomer. The Chicago 7..they weren't boomers. That's what people think of when they think 'boomers' but the modern tech age is more of a 'boomer thing' although those people who started it, really, weren't boomers. Founder of Intel wasn't a boomer. The boomers didn't put us on the moon. The boomers are what they are. A big giant population bubble that good things and bad things came from. The greatest generation of Americans was probably the post civil war generation that brought us the guilded age.
