No thanks.
We could pick him up for minimum...
The last thing the Spurs need is another center (it's an even lower priority than two-guard -- that's how little it's needed). There's no reason to get Camby at this point.
I had suggested a Camby/24 (and maybe a sweetener) for Bonner/28 swap as a way to move up in the draft, but besides that, there's no need to acquire Camby. He would have made decent Splitter insurance, but that's it.
I'd rather stick with Timmy, Tiago, and Aron as our low post bigs.
Spur fan will still want Camby when he is 70.
May have been a good pickup back in nineteen hundred and something.
No thanks. Tired of these old hags willing to be a spur when they are used goods lol
^^^^^ and I think Camby talked crap about TD's defensive awards in the past.
Straight hating on Tim
And he's a hundred and fiddy, no thanks.
just ing stop with this already. And before anyone starts the thread NO LINAS KLEIZA EITHER
While I'm not in favor of bringing in Kleiza (which is a moot point, since he is likely going overseas if/when cut) - at least it would be a player at a position of need.
James White plays a position of need also, that doesn't mean we should consider him as an option
The le of this thread tells you exactly why we shouldn't touch him.
Pre-injury Kleiza was a quality NBA player. James White was nothing more than an over-hyped folk hero.![]()
Yeah like we need another old player.
Being bought by a team like the Raptors should tell you all you need to know.
It seems like Camby has been playing forever.
I bet he could make the transition for us, right?
no to Camby.
......but what about Kevin Willis? He knows the system.
Is it still to late to clone Tim Duncan???
The dude is a vegetable on the court, tbh.
