there's always going to be a place for a PC, IMO
The term 'Post-PC' makes me want to punt a baby.
Until the ability to create content is as easy on tablets as it currently is on devices with keyboards, no.
TABLETS and smart phones are just overtaking....the remote control...nothing to see here
Taken a loss in the market share to tablets and phones, but there will always be a market for desktops IMO.
For the average consumer, yes. But professionals and enthusiasts will still need them for video editing and programming, etc
For games at least the ports will be easier in this generation.
I hate the term Post-PC. And no, we aren't even close.
the pc isnt the VHS as they transitioned to dvd and streaming.
its more of the radio. always has a spot, will still function in peoples world but not in the success it once did
No, but I think the days of big, bulky desktop systems are numbered.
And the lines between tablet and laptop will become increasingly blurry.
