Kevin (Kingsport): What do you normally do to get ready for the season?
Bruce Bowen: I work out. I start focusing hard in August on taking care of my body and weights and shooting. The NBA season is so long, you need to get started working out early, then once the season begins, you still work out...but not as hard as you do when you start bearing down in August.
Damn... he didn't answer my question about whether it was sweeter to take the Pistons out when they had a 9 point second-half lead in game 7 or if it was more fun to make Kobe and Fisher cry on their homecourt in 2003.
Damn, I asked him if he could teach me how to dance to latin music but he didn't answer me either....

Bruce is trying to build up his image again from being a cheap-shot artist after his latest 'bow throwing incident with Sean Marks' kid.
That is what was I thinking when I read the Rockets signed Swift. Damn that could be a deadly team come next year. Swift is a solid player and showed last year he can be really good once he is starting and stays healthy.Prodigy, Syracuse: Who do you think is the biggest threat in the West?
Bruce Bowen: Honestly, I can't say right now. Anyone can be on paper, we'll have to see. But I think the acquisition of Stromile Swift in Houston, if it happens, would be huge. Dallas is a good team. There are lots of good teams.
