Hes got a great future ahead of him, said the Spurs veteran Antonio McDyess, an accomplished rebounder himself. Hes relentless. He plays hard every possession.
Thanks blair. This ACLs for you!!!

He probably will get a standing ovation from Spur fans and rightfully so.
dejuan blair never scored 30 points in an NBA game
You were a good Spur Dejuan. Good luck down the road.

whipping boys for next season:

Jefferson out.... Blair out... only one left.
thanx Dejuan.
He really made a difference, playing his role to perfection, spurs are gonna miss this:
Thank god we kept Mills, Spurs bench= ed without him.
Is it official now?
On January 13, 2010, Blair became the first rookie in Spurs history to record a 2020 (at least 20 of any two statistical categories) since Tim Duncan, when he finished with 28 points and 21 rebounds (10 offensive rebounds) in a 109108 overtime win against the Oklahoma City Thunder. It was also the first time in 29 years that a rookie who was not drafted in the first round of the draft recorded a 2020. Blair recorded his second 2020 of the season in the Spurs' final regular season game when he recorded 27 points and 23 rebounds against the Dallas Mavericks.Blair also participated in the Rookie Challenge wherein he showed a strong performance especially in the first half, when he made a dunk from the backboard, a trick shot in the final minutes of the game, and tallied 22 points, and 23 rebounds, becoming the first player to have a 2020 game in a Rookie Challenge and setting a Rookie Challenge record for rebounds
Yes, he tweeted so. Dunno if a sign and trade or one year deal yet tho...
I kind of liked him, as he was one of a kind (his playing style was fun to watch) and stayed relatively calm after riding the bench.
Wow, that reads like he died.
I wish him all the best.
dismantling of the turd towers has been a long time coming
He never sent me a signed jersey after he picked my background graphic in a contest
damn, that sucks. Probably too busy paying off that debt for the jewelry tbh.
but best of luck to Blair and thanks for your time with the Spurs.
"Ocho!"![]()
So does this mean there will be an official "Goodbye playblair" thread?
I'm not ashamed to say that I'm glad he's gone. Ultimately, I think in three years he'll be plying his trade with an obscure Euro team and praying his knees don't degenerate to whatever inevitably happens when you don't have ACLs.
And as has already been mentioned, he should definitely try to keep his spending habits in check. Buying tens of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry on credit was pretty ing dumb, but hopefully DeJuan learned from that mistake. The money pile is not going to last forever, and it's going to hurt when it runs out, so he should probably start thinking about his post-NBA future. That singing career isn't going to be enough to keep him afloat.
