He's a little salty I guess.
On his personal blog, Mark Cuban wrote that the Dallas Mavericks believed there was a clash of personalities between the organization and Dwight Howard, when the Mavericks pursued the center this offseason.
In Cuban's mind, there might be risk with Howard.
"We saw it as somewhat of a risk, but felt like because Dwight by all appearances and checking we did, is a good guy and with our support systems we believed we could make it work," Cuban wrote. "If not, he was obviously a very trade-able asset. But, as everyone knows, we didn't sign him."
Howard signed with the Houston Rockets.
Mavs did dodge a bullet imho. It's like you're a soldier serving the German army during the world war II, instead of dodging the bullet you could've taken it and it would've probably earned you an Iron Cross but woud've also put your life at risk. Just like the ancient Chinese philosopher Laozi said, fortune is contigent on misfortune, and also has misfortune hidden in it.
^Exactly, Howard is not going to advance the Mav's cause. He'll just re it. Signing him because he's arguably the best free agent in the crop is wrong and wrong headed.
Didn't stop you wicked gay sticks from groveling for him!
Guilty. And we're paying the price for that groveling.
