Thanks Marklar, we expected this but weren't sure when it would be announced. Joe Dumars is supposed to be on FSN at 10:00 tonight.

LB was fired? Or he quit?....
He basically wouldn't give Joe Dumars and Bill Davidson a straight answer on whether or not he can and would be back, so they agreed to a buyout, essentially firing him.
Ohhh, so essentially, I guess it's not so bad getting "fired" in the NBA, like it would be in the real world.
I wouldn't mind getting a $23 million buyout every time I was fired.![]()
I dont know if this is true, but I heard the buyout was for only $6 Million. I dont remeber the source, but I heard it one some Detroit TV station.
You got a guy that has like 17 playoffs wins for a guy who had 100..
17 playoff wins in 10 years....
The players will be affected and I believe the fans will too..
