Why is this er getting so much praise? Yes I realize he's a great player and the mvp. But he will never be among the best ever. They talk about game 6, but forget he is the reason that game was all but lost for miami. The game was as good as over because of lechoke turnovers, misses and airballs. So then in desperation time(no pressure) he chucks up a couple 3's and hits one. We miss a FT giving them a chance, lechoke has the ball(now theres pressure) he misses lucky bounce ray allen then travels and hits the 3 to tie it. Spurs are out of gas lose the game and series. The point is he is still the same guy and will never be a killer. They should've lost that game and the championship a million different ways. And now we have to see this arrogant sucker everywhere.

He is already among the best ever, no sense in denying it. He won that game 7 through sheer force of will.

Dude... don't be so bitter. No matter how you look at it, whether he got lucky or he earned it, LeBron won his 2nd championship. Add to it that he's the best player on the planet, he's sure to get a lot of praise. Plus, everyone is still making up for all the hate they gave him after The Decision and the 2011 Finals.

If we won, would Tim Duncan deserve praise?

The Spurs should have lost game 5 against the Pistons with Duncan choking at the free throw line but Robert Horry put on a performance of the ages.

Not sure what's funny? Lebron was by far the best player in the NBA and by far the best player in the finals. He, not any Spur or Heat player, put game 7 out of reach. He's Oscar Robertson with the body of a freight train.

Just embrace it. He's on his way to the top 10 if he's not already there. Definitely leapfrogged Kobe already.

Deserve? Of course. Praised? When has he ever been? The guy deserves praise right now. Winning #5 should have nothing to do with it.

Yeah I agree with you, but one guy as opposed to the whole world who are constantly putting LBJ on a peda stool. These ing kids who just started watching basketball in 2010. Have no idea what basketball really is. These are the same s who put LBJ in front of everything.

He ruined that Imagine Dragons song for me, not that I love that band but if it comes on Pandora I immediately have flashbacks of the finals and cringe.

Stop hating man, He is a truly great player.

He scored 21,000 points, 5,000 rebounds and 5,000 assists, 1200 steals and 650 blocks in 10 seasons or 765 career games. If he's overrated then, I don't know the actual definition.

    Career averages

    27.6 PPG
    7.3 RPG
    6.9 APG
    49% FG

Career P.E.R-27.6 and has lead the NBA In P.E.R For the last 6 years.

They only time Duncan choked was when he missed a game winning tip at the end of regulation in game 5. That being said Horry performance was friggin amazing. Scoring 25 points in 22 minutes from .03 left in the 3rd through OT.

I actually liked the ESPN special where they talked about his work with the Akron school kids. He gives them bikes if they pass the 3rd grade. Pretty cool stuff. While I'm not huge on his antics on the Heat, I have to give him props for supporting at risk youth.

He is the best player in the game today but that doesn't mean he's among the best ever. No way did he leapfrog kobe. The greats make the players around them better, they don't leave to form a supergroup. Timmy has always made the players around him better. lebron is a compiler of stats not a winner.
