not sure how you came to that conclusion, but this isn't about me, it's about you.
You seem confident that he'll be president. Let's bet on it. Make all these worthless threads you start interesting.
ANY president or candidate can be made to look like an ideologue, an idiot, and/or a pandering wimp. When in truth many people in high public office are very able people. This is what I cannot stand about political discussions. The tearing down is always easier than any good. The truth is, a resurrected Ghandi would eventually dip well below 50% approval rating running a country as complex as ours. He would fail. Cynicism is by far the easiest route when assessing politics or public service. And that, is a huge problem today. So bad that many hope the people they have pegged for failure bring the country down. Simply so they can say, "I told you so."
Name any president one thinks did a good job, and one can read just as many failures as sucesses. George Bush was the first president to really give AIDS in Africa a serious look. Obama has tried to tackle one of the largest looming economic and moral problems in health care. And both of them pursued this with the belief they could make the situation better. But they both were/are power hungry, vendetta ridden fools. They must be. Because its easier to find problems than solve them.
