Oakland woulda given up 8 TDs to Manning
i like what they're doing. if you're gonna tank do it with potential. put teh black quarterback and hope there's a spark if not, just get the best player in the draft.
i dub this the official tank for teddy thread![]()
Didnt look bad tbh. Had first and goal in the last minute and took a dumb sack. Took it to a playoff team on the road, and Pryor was effective.
If janikowski makes the 40 some yard field goal at the end of a half, a field goal wins at the end. They were better than I thought, which makes the loss painful
I like Pryor. I think the coaching staff made the right decision starting him over Flynn. He has some obvious weaknesses, but that's a good thing when you're talking about a player so young. He should be able to get a lot better. In the very least, he'll back the year more exciting.
What's you think?
lol game of the week. jags vs raidaz. loser gets teddy![]()
breh, the future is bright in oakland. hopefully T-Pain can keep it up and bring that excitement back to the yay area. y'all are ahead of the curve with having a monkeyballer, so the qb position is set, for now. if T-Pain pans out then y'all should be looking for a pass rusher, offensive tackle and receiver. in that order.
Pryor can be good, but not sure if he really will be that "franchise qb for the next decade" type of guy just yet. I think Pryor is more in the Vince Young mold than the Kaepernick/Cam Newton category, but hopefully more mentally stable. That said, our defense is what looked good to me. Gave up TD's on the fist 2 possessions, but really cleaned their act up for the last 3 quarters of the game. The main issue with our team right now is the o-line. Pryor can survive bad protection, but our running game isn't going to get going with the way they're playing. Granted, our O-line is currently the most beat up line in the league. Hopefully our (backup) LT will be back next week. If we can get our run game to be at least competent, this team could push for 7 wins or so and I wouldn't be too surprised. Before week 1, I had us winning somewhere between 3-5 games, but Pryor and our defense looked impressive
Jags at Raiders. who ya'll got.
we beat the jags last year in the MJD linsfranc gamealthough it took a carson palmer comeback to do so. i still remember he essentially stripped that re ed Knapp of playcalling duties when he started to go no-huddle in the 2nd half, which is when our offense started clicking
a decade of sucking and they manage to get mnf games every year lol the![]()
Hmmm?
The Raiders have won four of the last five in Denver. 6-1 vs the spread in the last seven.
0-1 in Denver in manning era. Past history means zero with how different our roster/coaching staff is and with manning on their team
Appliance company: "score pls"
We do see historical trends hold up better in division games for the obvious reasons.
If historical trends are so important to you, why does the Super Bowl loser trend just brushed off by you?
Break that trend down for me.
