We brought him in a nobody, we kicked him out a nobody.
Did the Lakers try to keep him?

Fishing for tops to smash his bottom
Dude has good quickness and solid defense, limited shooting range. Dude has the potential to be a successor to Marion imho.
F'kn Dwert set the precedent...and the rest followed.
Based on what? One good game against KD in 2012? The game Lakers barely won and thanks to MWP elbowing Harden?
lol, B-Ref is projecting Ebanks to average 12 and 6 next year
He might provide some solid minutes off the bench in the right system, he did put up 11.5 pts 5 reb on 42,9% shooting in the 2 games he got 27+ minutes, but the sample size is only 2 games so...
whats his contract like? does he think cuban is going to overspend on new offer?
Ebanks is like a potato to a cook and it'll depend on the cook how the dish will taste, imho. Dude's status will vary from the last man on the bench to a solid player in the rotation, or even the starting lineups depending on how fast and well he's gonna fit in. And it's not like we're gonna make him our new franchise player or a star player. We already have plenty of scoring options (Dirk, Monta, VC, DH etc...) so adding a blue-collar winger wouldn't hurt our team imho, and his athleticism will turn out be a good addition to our aged squad, I believe.
