That is the story. He got an invite from the Spurs for summer league and he got his wife to postpone the honeymoon so he could go. Good call on both their parts.

He was actually married sometime or possibly right before the LV Summer league. I remember they were telling the story how they had to forego their honeymoon plans since he got an invite to the Spurs' summer league team.
