For the spurs,
I actually liked the rotation that Pop did for the first half of the preseason game.

Diaw to be the 3rd big. He can really push into the lane, sometimes even better than Tim's bumping, or maybe its just the defender.
Bonner was put in just to shoot some 3 pointers. You can see that there were actually plays just for him to shoot. Once he misses a few shots, Pop takes him out of the game and never puts him back. I think this should be the best way, since he is still staying on the roster. Come in, shoot a few open threes and hope he makes them, if not, bye for that game.
Ayres is doing a good job, smooth jumper, smooth finish and smooth put-backs and good rebounding.
Baynes i think is still not stable/consistent. He can come in for some garbage time though, or if the other bigs are very tired.

Cojo can be the backup PG, while manu/belinelli distributes the ball. The PG does not always have to be the one distributing.
Mills should come in in short spurts and shoot, abit like gary neal's roll in the past. He has the TP's right leg jump right hand layup perfected, while shooting the ball better than TP.
Nando should be cut
Sam Young should be cut, or maybe given more chance/less touches on the ball.

Manu is actually a very good spot-up shooter. I forgot what was the stat, but i think it was about 45% spot up shooting even though he was in a shooting slump last season. If he stops taking step back heatcheck threes, but open 3s, he will be good this season.

Green is the same, cant see his improvements in dribbling at all.
Leonard still requires alot of work.

For NBA on a whole from other games that i watched,

Refereeing
More travelling calls, ball carrying calls. Like, alot alot more. Hopefully they continue to call that for the superstars in the league because i haven seen those games yet. but they were really strict on the calls. they dun let people move their pivot foot anymore, and the ball cannot be carried more than parallel to the ground. This really gives Spurs the advantage from what i see, because we are better on the fundamentals than anyone else in the league.

Offensive interference calls. Some weird call on how after a made basket, the offensive player cannot touch the ball -> 2times and its a technical foul. I have seen players like Howard getting technicals for that its ridiculously funny.

On a side note: Is it possible to sign Pargo. He looks damn good.
