    The good:

Cam Newton: sure, they beat a dog Matt Cassel-led Vikings team, but Cam had 242 yds and 4 total TD's. He'll go back to struggling going forward until they're 3-7, then shamelessly statpad like last year. Still, A for effort today.

Thad Lewis: From the street to facing the Bengals D in 9 days, he played with a ton of heart and kept the Bills in it. B+

    The bad:

Russell Wilson: Some might say he was riding the coat-tails of Marshawn Lynch and a dominant defense to victory. But they didn't witness the clapping in the huddle, the dump-offs and checkdowns, and the purposefully errant throws (to test the skill of his wide receivers). His heroism is truly second to none. A++

Colin Kaepernick: 16/29, 252 yards, 2 tds, 1 int, 1 lost fumble (2 total fumbles). Don't be fooled by the stats, half those yards came off 2 blown coverages on Vernon Davis. Other than that, he made terrible decisions in the redzone and once again looked horribly uncomfortable in the pocket. Starting to look like the black blood cells are more prominent than the white ones. (Alex Smith is 6-0, btw). C-

    The ugly:

Terrelle Pryor: 10 sacks, most in the circus-variety. Blame a crippled o-line all you want, but you can't be losing a 1/4 of the field on each sack. Throw in 3 picks for good measure. F

    Geno Smith: LOL. F

Michael Vick: Watched the white man rape a top-flight secondary and now has 7 total td's in 2 games. He'll rush back from injury, hurt his team, then get injured again (stop me if you've seen that before). F

Cawnbread Griffin III: Awful. Like Kaepernick and Wilson, he's dog when you keep him in the pocket. D

    Other:

Josh Freeman: This retread has earned a job by default, so his addition will make up for Vick's subtraction.

Pryor had an awful showing, but all QB's in their first starting year put up stinkers here and there, let alone on the road against an elite D, but his first 2 picks were just bad decisions and he took some sacks where he coulda just gotten rid of the ball out of bounds. I was disappointed for sure, but like you referenced, the line was something else. Pass protection aside young QB's NEED a running game, outside of Luck, but Luck is a monster.

At this point the Raiders would be THRILLED to get their 2nd string offensive line back. These third stringers aren't as good as Alabama's o-line right now

Pure breeds are 11-20 on the year while mutts are 9-6. Pays to have a little Aryan in ya (or ridiculous defenses and rushing attacks).

Russ the boss put in another masterful performance tbh...

Connected with 8 different receivers, and willed his team to victory despite the fumbleitis of teammates (3, 1 of which he recovered himself, and saved a touchdown in the process. Quite masterful indeed.) and poor special teams play. 300 all purpose yards. It will be a glorious day when Lord Percy can suit up at full health. All praises to DangeRuss

He brought the, spread-the-ball-around, cover-up-our-team-deficiency goods as usual. Like a bossss

don't mind them. they didn't watch the game. they see Lynch 2 TD's in the yahoo box score and think he did it all, despite the fact that wilson got them down the field to set up both Td's

I see Lynch being the leading rusher and receiver along with scoring 12 of their 20 points. I also see a Seahawk defense that forced 2 turnovers and held the opposition to just over 200 yards.

    Those silly little details.

Cam's going to stay on the top of that list for a while, tbh. I think we give the Saints a run for their money in the South. Pretty reasonable considering Atlanta injured/underperforming and the Bucs being the Bucs.

the dude who fell on lynch's fumble?

so during a 10-10 tie (due to a botched field goal that ans returned for a TD), Lynch fumbles with goal to go. wilson is able to land on it and they take a FG lead. next possession Wilson throws and runs for 51 yards (Lynch accounts for 16), and Lynch punches it in on 1st and goal. I'm not taking anything away from Marshawn, but Wilson is the one that got the offense into position to take the lead and win the game. oh and the drive where Lynch fumbled with goal to go? set up by that big pass play which i linked above.

Lynch is an awesome back, and the Seahawks rightfully feed him the ball early and often, but that doesn't mean Wilson is just "along for the ride."
