    How about some of you man up like big people and lets have us a little picking contest like so many other boards do? What is everyone afraid of here?



    Smarts have nothing to do with this, it's the ac ulation of pertinent info. Then putting that info to work for you. After about seven weeks you have a good read/info on what to expect.

    Why this need to get rid of me? I've never understood that? I'm here to talk football and have some fun, that's bad? Look at your Pats, who here can talk about your first great back...Larry Garron? How about Gino and Babe and Houston? How about your NCAA wrestling champion fullback?

    It's not hard to pick straight-up winners, and Avante doesn't bet money on those (or moneylines). He bets ATS, so just flip a coin on all the football lines and have him make his picks. I'll bet 2-1 odds that you win, especially since he's something like 4-5 games under .500 right now.
