how's his injury
top defender, top scorer, effective shooting truly. and there's some big names on that team. he's quality, iirc he has good wingspan or kawhi hands. i wonder if the spurs would fast track his recovery to development. like a new cojo-esque d league swap out player. if howard and x after howard bums out.

When was this game played?
April before the draft. He injured his knee and had it repaired in August. He is now 2 month post op and hopefully rehabbing well.
It's funny how people here all over him, but hang on every Deshaun Thomas box score. This kid has about 10X the chance to make the NBA as Thomas ever will.
He'll be behind Bonner in the rotation.
I think Bonner will be head coach by that time tbh.
