Clippers' summer of success nearly thrown into chaos by owner

    Yahoo Sports By Adrian Wojnarowski

In the early afternoon hours of July 3, owner Donald Sterling called Los Angeles Clippers president Andy Roeser and informed him he had rescinded approval on moving Eric Bledsoe and acquiring free agent J.J. Re in a sign-and-trade agreement. The three-team deal – delivered the owner's blessing only two days earlier – no longer interested Sterling.

Call it off, Sterling instructed Roeser, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

    Deal's dead.

Like I said earlier today, Sterling's clearly senile, but at least we have competent people in the front office now who can snap him out of his senility, tbh

Don't really care, the trade still happened, Woj gets a dramatic scoop to get pageviews right before the season starts, everybody wins, tbh...

senile is not the correct definition CN.

More like cheap. Moron just traded draft picks for Doc and he rescinds the first deal Doc makes. This guy doesn't deserve LA tbqh.

We have the highest-paid coach in the league and IIRC the most committed money to the roster this year.... Sterling's a bag, no question, but the Clippers haven't really been cheap for a while now, tbh....

Still though, stories like these make me glad his son-in-law is taking over the franchise soon, if only because he's not the Donald

I think Pop is the highest paid coach in the league tbh. He may spend a dollar or two, but he'll always be the cheap stubborn old fart who has no business running a sports franchise.

What happens first: Tammy comes out the closet, or Clipps cut down the nets?

No, Pop's in second.... Doc makes $7 million per year, Popovich "only" makes $6 mil...

I'd say Kirby comes out of the closet first, but that already happened:

So I guess I'll have to say Kirby gets "the Magic" first.... oh wait, that already happened too:

Exactly. Clippers actually got better by just bringing in Doc. This might be reminiscent of the 1998-1999 & 1999-2000 Lakers.

Doc is overrated. However, doc has out a turd with more coaching ability than vinny, so just based on that they should be much improved
