    Didn't see him in preseason, but you gotta figure he's in Pop's doghouse with 0 minutes.

    With Manu and Beli able to relatively effectively work as tandem PG, the actual PG spot should be going to someone who's going to make a difference or contribute something to the team.
    Patty = energy + offence
    CoJo = lots of exasperated looks + okay D, sometimes

    If he were in the doghouse, they wouldn't have picked up his option for next season.

    Pop is going with the hot hand right now. Mills has earned it. Everyone can't play every night. Joseph will get his chance. He is a young player with upside. I would like to see Baynes get more than 2 minutes tbh. I think we need improved bigs play behind Duncan.

    There may have been a health issue for CoJo. According to 48MoH he had icepacks on both knees after the game even though he didnt set foot on the court.

    Health issue or not, if Patty can take advantage of his time on court consistently, CoJo might be in trouble fighting for that backup PG spot.

    If Joseph ends up as 3rd string, at least he got his 4th year option picked up. $2.1 million next year.

    He's not as good as Patty at towel-waving either.

    Patty has been balling all preseason. And with Manu, Diaw and Belinelli all possessing ball handling and playmaking skills, the Spurs need a PG off the bench that can score, and Patty does just that.

    geeez it was only his first game... a bit more practice and a few more dnp's and he'll probably be voted on as starting towel waver on the all-star team

    the issue with Patty is his value is entirely dependent on his shot falling. he is a liability on defense most of the time, whereas CoJo is a solid defensive player. even if CoJo's offense isn't doing much (which we've grown accustomed to), he's at least not getting completely toasted on D

    I trust CoJo with a towel, which I think he will wave effectively. But I trust him with nothing else.

    Too bad we can't fuse them together like Goten and Trunks.

    Cotty Jolls!!

    Pary Miph!!

    IT would be great to have their skill set combined, but then he'd probably be pushing Parker for the Starter.

    But having an explosive scorer and a young Solid defender makes the Spurs versatile and that's a good luxury to have.

    Nando at this point is obsolete.
