    what is a bosman?
A status given to any player that holds an European Union citizenship or passport, by which they aren't considered foreigners (each team has a maximum number of foreigners allowed per roster).

So usually South American players take the double nationality, appealing because they have some ancestor of European blood. The non-EU spots often are reserved for American players.

just another couple of awards to add to the long list of awards Scola has under his belt. This guy is the real thing; and atleast he is dominating over there. There really isnt much else scola can do overseas now, he needs to play in the nba within the next couple of seasons

Scola plays center in Europe? I thought he was the best forward in Europe? I guess not.

That just shows you how big the gap is. Scola might be too small to play power forward in the NBA, yet he's the best center in Europe. Pretty interesting, considering he's 6-foot-8 on a good day.
