Terrell Owens, the 49ers' honorary captain for Sunday's game, made one thing clear during a pregame sideline interview: He's not retired. In fact, Owens admitted he was disappointed the 49ers – or any other team – hadn't called him while sorting through wide-receiver issues this season.
"It is what it is, and I can't really be too salty about it," Owens said. "Again, I thought there was an opportunity there obviously when Michael Crabtree went down that I could have been a viable option just to come in for a workout. But nothing happened."
the last time the dude played, he had a 1000 yard season

and the last time he played was 3 years ago and he is days away from turning 40 years old. not to mention all of the negative media attention and other bull he brings.

with all of the talent waiting to come into the league he isn't worth it. I don't blame the 49ers (or any team) for not calling him.

i'm on TO's side on this one. unlike Moss, Owens was productive until his very last day. He put up like 980 yards and 9 TD's in only 14 games in his last season. i'm sure he could have helped a LOT of teams since then

I'd love to see someone(like Jacksonville) bring back TO and Ocho together, why not do it for the "luls"?

A lot of good teams could have used him tbh. SF's receivers suck until Crabtree is back. Seattle's blow. Carolinas are the worst for a team with a winning record tbh, so ing awful.
