At this point, if it was any single person I'm kinda leaning more toward J. Edgar Hoover...he and LBJ were suspects named by Howard Hunt in his deathbed confession..

William Harvey: CIA and Bay of Pigs veteran. Connected to Mafia figures Santos Trafficante and Sam Giancana.
Antonio Veciana: Cuban exile, founder of CIA-backed Alpha 66.
Frank Sturgis: CIA operative, mercenary, Bay of Pigs veteran, and later Watergate figure.
David Morales: CIA hit man, Bay of Pigs veteran. Morales was also a figure involved with the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy.

Even if the film was altered, it is still not proof that Greer was one of the shooters. Besides that, there are many valid pieces of information that indicate that William Greer was not one of the shooters.

This covers a lot more than the specifics of the crash. This is an excellent do entary that discusses a lot of what went into the murder of John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy and John F. Kennedy Jr. This also describes how history (the creation of World War II, the people who helped Hitler rise to power, Vietnam, et cetera) plays into all of these things, as well. Keep in mind that Prescott Bush, H.W. Bush's father, was one of the main players involved in constructing World War II, Hitler's rise to power and Hitler's actions during his reign over Nazi Germany.

Pressed in an interview aired Sunday on NBC’s "Meet the Press" to explain his beliefs that JFK's death was part of a bigger plot, Kerry said: “I just have a point of view. And I'm not going to get into that. It's not something that I think needs to be commented on, and certainly not at this time.”
“I'm not going to go into it. It's just inappropriate, and I'm not going to do more than say that it's a point of view that I have. But it's not right, or worthy, or appropriate for me to comment further,” Kerry told host David Gregory.
Kerry said in a recent interview with NBC, as the 50th anniversary of the assassination approaches, he doubts the official story.
“To this day, I have serious doubts that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone,” Kerry said about the suspect arrested in the 1963 assassination. Oswald was himself later killed by Jack Ruby before any trial.
The President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy – known as the Warren Commission – concluded in 1964 that Oswald was not part of a broader conspiracy.

Roger Stone: LBJ had Kennedy killed
Legendary Republican operative Roger Stone claims in his new book that Lyndon Johnson arranged John F. Kennedy’s assassination, and that Richard Nixon and Johnson had a do ented relationship with Lee Harvey Oswald’s killer, Jack Ruby, years before Ruby shot Oswald in the basement of Dallas police headquarters in 1963.
Stone, who worked for Richard Nixon’s Committee to Re-elect the President in 1972 and later served in the Nixon administration, claims in his forthcoming book that Johnson, then a congressman, instructed Richard Nixon, then a congressman, to hire Ruby on the House of Representatives payroll in 1947.
Stone also claimed that Johnson “micro-managed” Kennedy’s Dallas motorcade, demanding that it pass through Dealy Plaza on November 22, 1963, when Oswald, from his perch in an overlooking book depository building, shot Kennedy.
“Nixon knew Jack Ruby, hired him on House payroll in 1947 at request of … Lyndon Johnson. Newly released do ents prove it. in my upcoming book ‘The Man who killed Kennedy- the case against LBJ’ Out Oct 1–order yours today,” Stone wrote on Facebook Thursday night.
“LBJ and Gov. John Connally micro-managed Dalla JFK’s schedule and demanded the route thru Dealy Plaza where the motorcade came to a full stop and LBJ had JFK killed. They had no interest in JFK stops in Austin or Houston !My upcoming book ‘The Man who killed Kennedy- the case against LBJ’ Out Oct 1–order yours today,” Stone wrote.
Stone, who has long defended his former boss Nixon, even wearing a famous Nixon tattoo on his back, co-wrote his forthcoming book with Mike Colapietro. The book is being published by Skyhorse Publishing.
Ruby, whose real name was Jacob Leon Rubenstein, moved from Chicago to Dallas in 1947, the same year Stone claims Nixon put him on the House payroll at Johnson’s request. Ruby died in 1967, a little more than three years after killing Oswald.
I predict someone will come in and debunk pretty much any and all conspiracy theories here.

Excuse me if i do believe Oswald was the lone killer. Was he paid to? Maybe. I just don't buy the whole conspiracy aspect though.
Without a time machine to go back and witness the events with modern technology, we will never know for certain.
