    Fallout?
    Bioshock?
    Mass Effect, dead space?
    Anything else?
I haven't played any of them and I want to power through something cheap.

I'm looking to play a series with a cool story

I've played those. Still bust out Skyrim from time to time, it's great

But was looking for variation. Not a big shooter guy, I'll play Halo every once in a while but the shooter types get repe ive.

Have you hit up the Arkham games, best comic book games of this generation if not the best period.

    PROTIP

Pawn Shops got some good cheap games

Fallout 3 is great... although graphics might look a bit dated now... I enjoyed the last Bioshock... Mass Effect 1 was great, then it got tier, tbh....

That game was graphically dated even before release tbh with even tier physics

Of the series mentioned in the OP, I's put BioShock and Mass Effect on the top of the priority list.

I finished the game but i'm not a big fan of RPGs no matter how light the RPG elements are, always gets boring sooner than later. Too many stats, scavenging for items and dialogue for my taste.

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls tbh... but these aren't "power through" games.

If you want to pick up a great game that's cheap, I also recommend Red Dead Redemption.

ending the main story with a giant ing robot was just fantastic.

As for the graphics try going back to Oblivion after playing through skyrim, it's just hilarious.

I've been playing through FO New Vegas again with all the DLC and a load of Mods. It's like a whole new game.

Tbh, you could probably power through both FO les in about 50-60 hours if you just stuck to the main plot.

I would recommend Mass Effect if you want a good story, though. The first one is an all-time great game, imho

True story. I'm still traumatized on how that series turned out.

Okay Mass Effect 1 is def number 1 on the list.

I'm in the mood for a tight ass story and semester will be up soon.

That's a big investment as you will be playing all 3 to complete the story. I loved blowing off homeless people's heads in V.A.T.S in Fallout 3, but the story was decent as well. I'd recommend that if you are interested in the FO series.
