The 9-1 start is promising but I wouldn't read too much into it. The Spurs have been amazingly healthy and the schedule has been pretty soft. I expect them to finish with the same number of wins as last year, give or take a couple.
At this pace what's the approximate date for another 50 win season? Overall regular season record?

Winning the games on paper that we should win, but its only 1/8 of the season. Things can change drastically in the seasons, an injury here or there, a coach firing, a hot streak, etc.
Just enjoying the great start and looking to beat the Celtics to get to 10 wins.
Even better, my Sports Hall of Fame coach used to say "the other team puts on their pants one leg at a time, too"
The schedule has seemed easy but in actuality it has been 12th toughest in the league. That surprised me. Naturally you take one game at a time because things can change so quickly in the NBA but I'm very pleased thus far with the level of play, on the defensive end specifically. Still plenty of room for improvement but just looking at the games thus far I see no reason the spurs are not a major contender for the le this year.
we need to go 41-31 the rest of the way to get 50 wins![]()
That math isn't that hard. Do it yourself.
haven't played an elite team yet except for Golden State. Spurs are beating those they're supposed to beat (remember, Miami lost to Philadelphia, a team the Spurs handled very well).
I'd say the Spurs are on pace to win some more games. Probably will lose a few . . .
Lies I say! Lies!! 81-1!!![]()
So basically , they'll win some and they'll loose some.
The rest are Pop's call for Timmy, Manu and Green to catch a train.
Or SWA flight.
Then the league imposes another $250,000 fine.
74-8 is your answer if we continue to win at this pace, tbh. Well, actually, 73.8-8.2.
it.... if we cant win the finals, i say we take a shot at the Regular season record. Get our boys in the record books.
Thats 3 wins for every loss, sounds good!
the way it looks it most probably be a 60+ win season.
Didnt Curry sit that game out so no GS was not an elite team without its best player.
How do you figure?
I think the Thunder and a couple of other teams will really keep the Spurs pressing for that #1 seed. So I expect the Spurs to win around 60 games this season. And I expect them to win the championship, health permitting.
The Spurs have played ten games. The Spurs have won nine games. 9/10 = .90. Multiply 82 games by .9 = 73.8
Not intending to be a smart ass, just explaining the math so people can figure it out when they're curious. It's something I check a couple of times a season at least.
