It's of some interest but it won't be accurate once the 2005-06 season starts.
Example: Nikoloz Tskitishvili is likely to sign for a team in Europe in the next few days on a multi-year deal after failing in the NBA.
Example: Shawn Bradley retiring.

Wow next off-season will be more interesting than this
one.
That's why I said that things will change. I was more or less interested in the prospects if we don't extend Nazr. The list doesn't say who is restricted or not, but I was wondering if Wallace and Yao will get extensions.
Didn't he just get an offer from the Wolves?
if we had cap space that is who I would target, possible prince
Yes, they came to an agreement a few days ago.
Thanks for the list, Spurschick. It's a good loose guideline for next summer.
looks like next offseason is when the spurs should look for a SF
one name that interests me alot is Caron Butler
I understand and yes, it's useful. Thanks for posting.
BTW, I had read - in the last 2 days - that Girona in the ACB was trying to sign Tskitishvili to a contract there and had missed the verbal agreement anouncement regarding the T-Wolves earlier. I'm sorry about the that, if that's how it works out.
I'm sure this list will change considerably. I don't see Wallace, Yao or Amare going anywhere - they'll get big bucks. Anybody else see any names that won't be available?
Jumaine Jones anybody? Long, athletic, could be a good Bowen replacement.
yeah he was another player I was looking at along with Caron Butler,
Those are the two I would go after.Tayshaun Prince - SF
Rasual Butler - SF
But what do I know..
Not Jumaine Jones but Caron Butler really is a consideration.
I dont think we have a chance in to get prince but maybe rasual butler
Well, yeah.
Even if the Spurs lose Nazr in free agency next summer, they'll still be over the cap. So they'll only have the MLE to spend.
yeah kori, it will be a while again before the spurs are under the cap like they were for a while the past couple of years
if the LLE isn;t used, i belive they have it next year
like I said if we had cap space
thats why the chances of getting caron butler or rasual butler are more likely
Sign him up.

At one point, the scuttlebut from Miami was that Rasual might turn out to be the better of the two Butlers. I've always like Jumaine Jones, too. Jumaine and Rasual are the better 3 point shooters, Caron is a bit more polished and a better FT shooter, but is under 30% career from downtown. Jumaine is 26, Rasual is 26, and Caron is 25.
Yes...can we get it by position? <wink>
