Florida congressman Henry “Trey” Radel has been charged with cocaine possession and faces arraignment Wednesday in Washington, officials said.
In a statement expressing regret, the 37-year-old Republican freshman lawmaker said Tuesday he struggles with alcoholism and intends to seek treatment and counseling.
Authorities allege that Radel possessed cocaine on Oct. 29. The cir stances of the alleged possession were not immediately known.
He was scheduled to appear Wednesday morning in District of Columbia Superior Court.

all the lawmakers do cocaine, that's a fact.
how else can you sit there pouring through pages and pages of meaningless texts while trying to make something of it. then you have lobbyists looking over your shoulder, taking you out, and probably supplying you with it.
let them do coke. it's the only way they get done.
the real story here is this guy voted to drug test all welfare and foodstamp recipients...and he was snorting that blow at the same time
They should just eliminate that entire state.
